This show just keeps on getting better.
After having familiarized ourselves with their butts faces from last episode, we get to see their hearts in this episode. No, I’m not talking about the inner conflict of Yoshika’s desire to fulfill her promise to protect everyone versus her hatred to enter the battle herself—no, that would be too much plot already—rather, I’m talking about the tinkle that she felt when this scene happened:

“I’ll be gentle.”
Oh yeah! There’s yuri in the air.
And not just any yuri, but loli yuri! Oh boy, Gonzo is not going to go out without a bang.
Action wise, this episode wasn’t as good as the 90 seconds that was in the prologue from last episode, but the excitement wasn’t too shabby either: The two highlights were Mio’s Kenshin-wannabe sword attack:

“Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu—Kuzu Ryu Sen!”
and Yoshika’s Death Star run:

“Use the force, Yoshika.”
Anyhow, we all know the potential of this show lies not with the fight sequences but with the moe factors. We already have had loli, mecha-musume, panty galore, and hints of yuri. Next episode seems to indicate the school life angst too, and I’m pretty sure those Neuroi will eventually grow tentacles. Last but not least, don’t count on Gonzo to not flirt with the I-have-a-secret-crush-on-daddy card too. What else am I missing?

Just look at that upcoming lineup.

That Mio is such a ladykiller, with her firm battlefield embrace and striking laugh…
I’m not sure it’ll get THAT yuri though. Just doesn’t seem like that sort of show.
Also, I’d just like to point out that Mio at least is no loli, she’s 19.
Perinne’s jealousy foreshadows many things that GONZO can manipulate!
> I’m not sure it’ll get THAT yuri though. Just doesn’t seem like that sort of show.
lol. How yuri is THAT yuri, which you were thinking of?
> Also, I’d just like to point out that Mio at least is no loli, she’s 19.
Ok, so it’s only half loli yuri. Anyway, it’s not the chronological age that counts, it’s the appearance age.
